Midwife Assistant
Growing up all I ever wanted to be was a mom. After the birth of my first, the first words out of my mouth was “I wanna do that again.” From that moment on the passion for birth grew. I went on to have a total of 6 children of my own and was a surrogate for a beautiful family. During this time I became a Birth Doula and Child Birth Educator, supporting mothers for 8 years years. After the birth of my last, which was a homebirth with a midwife, I felt the call and pull towards midwifery more than ever. I knew I was meant to do this work, so I dove right in. I am almost done with my schooling as a midwife and will be licensed this year. Midwifery is definitely my purpose in life; along with being a mother and wife, to my amazing husband to whom which none of this would be possible without. I am so honored to serve the women and families of this community.

Birth Doula
I was born and raised in the Central Valley of California and have returned to the Valley after a three year move to Colorado Springs, Colorado. It’s been a joy to be back! The richness of diversity in families has been a joy to experience. I am a certified Birth and Postpartum Doula, Childbirth Educator, and CNA working with families and newborns for over 9 years. I specialize in the beginning time of parenthood and newborn care. My career started after the birth of my first child in 2013, when I experienced the tender and beautiful challenges of new parenthood and learned of the doula profession. Since my first training, I have had the privilege to work with many amazing families and serve them with the emotional, physical, and educational support that everyone needs when becoming a parent.
My biggest goal as a doula is to accompany parents in this journey that can be so isolating and unknown, so that these beginnings can be a little more gentle and welcoming.
My husband and I have four vibrant children. I am passionate about all kinds of families and cultures, which extends my abilities to come into any family and support them in the ways they need. I really enjoy getting to experience the world through their eyes. On my down time, I really enjoy traveling and being in new places. I also enjoy reading, gardening, and cooking.
You can find me at a farmer’s market with a kid or two, or four!
